• Pattern: ser-1::gfp is expressed in most pharyngeal muscles. ser-1::gfp was not obviously detectable in pharyngeal neurons, but it is possible that weak expression may be obscured by the strong pharyngeal muscle gfp expression. Faint fluorescence can be observed surrounding the isthmus of the pharynx and may be ascribed to the neuropil of the nerve ring.
