• Pattern: This construct gives expression in the vulval labia, in the vulC cells. There is some mosaicism as sometimes only the anterior or posterior vulC cell gives expression. Staining is rather weak and only infrequently observed. Only in strain UL553 was this expression consistently observed. In UL468 expression was only observed intermittently, and in UL554 not at all.
