• Pattern: egl-26 promoter is active in vulE nuclei. However, activity cannot be detected in vulF nuclei. Expression was reproducibly either anteriorposterior or leftright asymmetrical in the vulE nuclei. Expression is also visible in the vulB nuclei but not in other vulval toroids.
