• Pattern: Transgenic animals carrying the lin-12::SL2::mCherry construct showed mCherry expression in a number of cell types including both the vm2 muscle cells and the vulval epithelial cells. Strikingly, no detectable lin-12 expression was observed in vm1 muscle cells.
