• Pattern: Using poly (A+) RNA, the col-1 specific probe hybridizes to a single size transcript of 1400 nucleotides, most abundant in L2-dauer RNA getting progressively less abundant in embryo, L4, adult and dauer-L4 RNAs. Using total RNA, similar result except that col-1 transcript is more abundant in embryo RNA than L2-dauer RNA.
