This pattern was similar to that observed for the outer membrane mitochondrial marker TOMM-20::mCherry. Colocalization studies revealed strong colocalization of SPHK-1:: GFP with TOMM-20::mCherry in the intestine. Colocalization was also seen between SPHK-1::GFP and an inverted outer membrane mitochondrial marker (INVOM:: RFP; Staab et al., 2013). |
