| Pattern | TCER-1::GFP was present in all germ cell nuclei, starting from the mitotic cells at the distal end to the oocytes at the proximal end of the gonad. TCER-1::mCherry showed an identical expression pattern (data not shown). Both of these transgenes were expressed in somatic nuclei as well (data not shown). TCER-1 reporter fusions were present at the inner periphery of the nucleus, often in a crescent-shaped fashion.
