Expression Pattern :

Pattern  PGL-3 is associated with P granules in both sexes at all stages of development except in spermatogenesis. PGL-3 is present in a distinct gradient in the adult germline: progressively more enriched in the pachytene and diplotene meiotic regions than in the distal mitotic region. Compared to pgl-1 mRNA, pgl-3 mRNA also seems more enriched in the meiotic region of the gonad than in the mitotic region. Primary Identifier  Expr3000
Subcellular Localization  Associated with P granules in both sexes at all stages of development except in spermatogenesis.
