Expression Pattern :

Pattern  Expressed in oocytes. Primary Identifier  Expr3456
Subcellular Localization  In immunofluorescence studies, an antibody to RME-2 localises in a punctate pattern at the surface of late stage oocytes. In one- and two-cell stage embryos, RME-2 can be detected in intracellular vesicles; it rapidly disappears as embryos develop, presumably as it is no longer required and is degraded following its release from the yolk ligand.
