Phenotype Remark  Ectopic expression of ELT-2/GATA is caused by heat schock and normally, enhA::GFP expression is only in the Notch-activated AB descendants following heat shock. Although authors expected depleting LAG-1/CSL should allow expression in all cells with heat-shock, they found that no cells expressed enhA::GFP in lag-1(RNAi) embryos following heat shock. Remark  enhA::GFP is 153bp element in ref-1 promoter region that was sufficient to recapitulate the normal pattern of ref-1 expression for both Notch interactions in the endoderm. Exact sequence used for RNAi not stated by authors, spliced coding region sequence of gene used for curation.
