Remark  The effect of gene knockdown on hypertonic survival of age-1 mutants was determined by transferring F1 young adult progeny of dsRNA-fed animals to RNAi feeding plates containing 450, 500, and 550 mM NaCl spotted with dsRNA-producing bacteria. Survival was measured after 20-24 h.
