WormBase ID  WBRNAi00102244 Phenotype Remark  lgg-1 is necessary for the LIPL-4 overexpression induced increased lifespan as RNAi decreases the lifespan extention. Other core autophagy genes (bec-1 and atg-16.2) are also required for the LIPL-4Ox-driven lifespan phenotype. Overexpression of LIPL-4 promotes starvation survival. In this experiment the ges-1 promoter is used to overexpress LIPL-4 (called LIPL-4Ox).
