Phenotype Remark  Glucosylceramide (GlcCer) levels reduction is enhanced by cgt-2. GlcCer levels were further reduced when all three cgt genes were knocked down suggesting that cgt-2 encodes a functional CGT protein. The level of GlcCer was 7.51.3 percent of wild type in this background compared to 243 percent of wild type when RNAi of cgt-3 was done in the cgt-1(qa1809) background.
