RNAi :

WormBase ID  WBRNAi00092829 Genotype  him-5(e1490)
Phenotype Remark  nhr-67(RNAi) males have a fully penetrant male gonadal defect, with none of the linker cells completing the migration by the L4 molt. However at the early L3 stage, no gonadal defects in nhr-67(RNAi) males were observed, thus nhr-67is a stage-specific regulator of timing in LC migration programs. In addition the migration of linker cell is slower and the turn from the dorsal side of the animal to the ventral side occurs with inappropriate timing. Remark  Because nhr-67 deletion mutants have an embryonic lethal phenotype, authors used RNAi feeding on newly hatched worms to study the function of nhr-67.
