RNAi :

WormBase ID  WBRNAi00064890 Genotype  unc-54::POLYQ(Q35)-YFP
Phenotype Remark  RNAi caused early onset of foci formation (polyglutamine-YFP aggregation) Remark  In strains expressing unc-54::POLYQ(Q35)-YFP, a diffuse YFP staining pattern is seen in all expressing cells from the moment they hatch through young adulthood. Onset of aggregation is invariable and occurs after the animals reach adulthood at the fifth day after hatching. L1 larva were feed RNAi bacteria in liquid culture and animals were assayed for fluorescent foci three days post-L1.

Identifier Name Description
WBPhenotype:0000679 transgene subcellular localization variant Any variation in the subcellular localization of a gene product produced by DNA coded for by exogenous genetic material that has been introduced into the organism compared to its expression in control animals.
WBPhenotype:0001405 protein aggregation variant Variations that result in the accumulation of soluble/insoluble protein aggregates in a particular cell or tissue, compared to control. Protein aggregates are often formed by interactions between misfolded protein molecules and/or deficiencies in proper protein folding.
