RNAi :

WormBase ID  WBRNAi00069901 Phenotype Remark  Authors differentiate 3 classes of arrest: S1, S2 and S3. S1 embryos arrested at a very early stage (3080 cells), in which most of the markers that we tested were expressed prematurely and ectopically. S2 embryos arrested at an intermediate stage (150350 cells) with almost no detectable gene expression. S3 embryos arrested at a late stage (600800 cells) without any morphogenesis and with aberrant gene expression.

Identifier Name Description
WBPhenotype:0000779 late embryonic arrest Cessation of development during the final stages of embryogenesis. In C. elegans, this stage normally occurs 620-800 min after the first cleavage at 20C and is the stage after elongation.
WBPhenotype:0001100 early embryonic lethal Animal dies prior to the gastrulation stage of embryogenesis.
WBPhenotype:0000051 embryonic terminal arrest variable emb The developmental program does not continue past embryogenesis; stage of arrest is not consistent from animal to animal.
