Expression Pattern :

Pattern  The fusion protein ANT-1.1::GFP is detected early in the embryo at around the 50-100 cells stage. The cytoplasmic spotted green fluorescent protein (GFP) signal is continuously seen from the comma to the 1.5-fold embryo stage. Nearly all cells express the fusion protein. In these worms, the GFP signal was detected in all tissues, starting from very early embryonic stage. It is noteworthy that this translational fusion directs the expression of ANT-1.1::GFP in the germ line cells, although the GFP signal declined over successive generations. Primary Identifier  Expr8108
Remark  Picture: Figure 3. ant-1.1 = T27E9.1 Subcellular Localization  The cytoplasmic spotted green fluorescent protein (GFP) signal is continuously seen from the comma to the 1.5-fold embryo stage.

Definition Name Synonym Primary Identifier
A chain of very large cuboidal cells forming a wide central lumen in which food arrives from the posterior pharynx, is digested, and from which waste products proceed to the rectum. Intestinal rings form in groups of two and four cells surrounding the common lumen; thus the epithelium is only one cell deep at any point, with neighboring cells firmly secured to their neighbors by apical adherens junctions. These cells have very large nuclei and many large vacuoles, yolk granules, and other inclusions; the latter increase in number and electron density as the animal ages. intestine gut WBbt:0005772
