Expression Pattern :

Pattern  Though the tag-63 reporter occasionally reveals faint expression in gonads and intestines, we mostly detected strong expression in neurons such as body, head and tail neurons. In detail, we identified significant expression in sublateral neurons, CANL/ CANR neurons, nerve ring and amphid neurons, ventral cord neurons, tail neurons, and mechanosensory neurons such as ALM. In many of these neurons TAG-63 colocalizes with (neuron-specific kinesin-3) UNC-104 and (synaptic precursor) SNB-1 proteins. Primary Identifier  Expr15501

neuron with cell body associated with the ventral nerve cord. ventral cord neuron ventral cord motoneuron WBbt:0005300
A chain of very large cuboidal cells forming a wide central lumen in which food arrives from the posterior pharynx, is digested, and from which waste products proceed to the rectum. Intestinal rings form in groups of two and four cells surrounding the common lumen; thus the epithelium is only one cell deep at any point, with neighboring cells firmly secured to their neighbors by apical adherens junctions. These cells have very large nuclei and many large vacuoles, yolk granules, and other inclusions; the latter increase in number and electron density as the animal ages. intestine gut WBbt:0005772
neuron with its cell body situated in the head, excluding the pharynx. head neuron   WBbt:0006751
neuron with its cell body situated in the tail, posterior to rectum. tail neuron   WBbt:0006759
the most extensive region of neuropil in the animal, consists of a large toroidal bundle of processes. nerve ring circumpharyngeal nerve ring WBbt:0006749

organ producing either sperm or ova. gonad   WBbt:0005175
Anterior lateral microtubule cell, touch receptor ALML lineage name: ABarppaappa WBbt:0003954
Anterior lateral microtubule cell, touch receptor ALMR lineage name: ABarpppappa WBbt:0003953
Process runs along excretory canal, no synapses, essential for survival CANL lineage name: ABalapaaapa WBbt:0004949
Process runs along excretory canal, no synapses, essential for survival CANR lineage name: ABalappappa WBbt:0004947
The left and right lateral ganglia lie beside the nerve ring in the head. They each contain about (30) neuron cell bodies and send their neuronal processes into the ring at its posterior margin either laterally or ventrally via the amphid commissures and ventral ganglion, but form no local neuropil separate from the nerve ring. The lateral ganglia are in close contact with the lateral hypodermal cords. lateral ganglion lateral ganglia WBbt:0005105
neuron that senses and responds to mechanical stimuli, such as touch. mechanosensory neuron   WBbt:0008431
