Expression Pattern :

Pattern  MEC-15 is expressed in the touch receptor neurons as well as several neurons in the head, tail, and ventral cord (MEC-15 is also found in other tissues such as the spermathecae). MEC-15 expression in touch receptor neurons was larva specific; GFP fluorescence was reduced in the last (L4) larval stage and absent in adults (MEC-15 expression in other neurons persisted in adults).
