Expression Pattern :

Pattern  The cellular expression pattern of the fusion protein suggested that Ce-MIF-2 was produced in the body wall muscles and the muscle of the vulva. In addition, strong Ce-MIF-2-gfp activity was associated with the hypodermis. Primary Identifier  Expr1733
Remark  Immunolocalization staining with an anti-Ce-MIF-2 antibody confirmed the expression pattern seen with the gfp construct. Freeze-crack method was used to permeabilize C. elegans embryos to explore Ce-MIF production and localization by antibody staining. The anti-Ce-MIF-2 antibodies did not react with embryos.
