Phenotype Remark  RNAi results in an increase in the number of apoptotic germ cell corpses, as determined by Nomarski/DIC optics (for germ cell corpses). GFP epifluorescence (for phosphatidylserine exposure labeled by GFP::AnxV) was not increased by tat-1 RNAi, indicating a decoupling of apoptosis from phosphatidylserine exposure at the plasma membrane outer leaflet.
