Expression Pattern :

Pattern  HSF-1::GFP expression was observed in all cell types examined. In unstressed worms, HSF-1::GFP was predominantly localized diffusely in the nucleus and was visible in all cells examined including hypodermal cells, intestinal cells, pharyngeal muscle cells, amphid neurons, phasmid neurons, and germ cells. Interestingly, HSF-1::GFP was observed to form nuclear stress bodies throughout the germline including both the distal and proximal ends as well as the loop, even though the worms were not exposed to any external stressors. Definition Name Synonym Primary Identifier
type of cells that make up muscle layers in the pharynx. pharyngeal muscle cell   WBbt:0005451
neuron of phasmid sensillum phasmid neuron   WBbt:0006753
neuron of the amphid sensillum amphid neuron amphid sensory neuron WBbt:0005394
primary cell type that forms the hypodermis. hypodermal cell   WBbt:0007846
any of 20 large epithelial cells which form a tube and are mostly situated as bilaterally symmetric pairs around the tubular lumen. Each of these cell pairs forms an intestinal ring ( II-IX int rings). The most anterior intestinal ring (int ring I), however, is made of four cells. Intestinal cells contain large nuclei with large nucleoli and numerous autofluorescent granules in their cytoplasm. intestinal cell   WBbt:0005792
a cell, of either sex, directly concerned in the production of a new organism. germ cell   WBbt:0006796
