• Pattern: Amongst the candidates tested, the NLP-7 precursor was of particular interest, producing mCherry fluorescence in cells neighboring the vulva. mCherry fluorescence was also observed in head and tail neurons, consistent with a prior report. The mCherry fluorescence near the vulva clearly labels the uv1 cells and the VC4 and VC5 motor neurons, and overlaps with that of IDA-1::GFP.
