• Pattern: GFP was first detected in comma-stage embryos. After hatching, transgenic animals showed high levels of GFP expression in almost all somatic cells. In contrast to the daf-16b fusion gene, little GFP was detected in somatic gonad or pharynx (except occasionally in one or two unidentified cells in the terminal bulb).
