• Phenotype Remark: After fertilization, embryos derived from oocytes with abnormal chromosomes induced by Ce-rdh-1/rad-51 RNAi exhibited lethality at early stages of development.In Ce-rdh-1/rad-51 RNAi-derived embryos at the four-cell stage, cell sizes and DNA content were irregular, and numerous random DNA fragments were observed. In addition, magnified images revealed chromosomal bridges. Such abnormalities were not detected in wild-type embryos.
