Expression Pattern :

Pattern  Expression is first detected in 4 neuronal cells at around 350 min post-fertilization, which is the time at which the BAG and URX neurons are born. Expression is restricted to these 4 neurons during embryogenesis. At the first larval stage, egl-13 expression is observed in the BAG and URX neurons plus occasionally in a small number of unidentified cells in the head and tail (including the AQR and PQR neurons). Later during larval development, egl-13 expression is observed in body wall muscle and vulval cells (data not shown). Neuronal expression is restricted to the O2 and CO2-sensing neurons in the adult. Remark Definition Other Name Public Name Primary Identifier
The stage that begins when a C.elegans individual is fully-developed and has reached maturity. adult Ce WBls:0000041
The C. elegans life stage spanning 620-800min(hatch) after first cleavage at 20 Centigrade. Cell number remains at ~560 cells, with some new cells generated and some cells go through programmed cell death. A stage after elongation is over. The last stage of embryogenesis. Also called pre-hatched embryo, late embryo or morphogenetic embryo. fully-elongated embryo Ce WBls:0000021
A developmental life stage of the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans that occurs from egg hatching until adulthood. larva Ce WBls:0000023
