Expression Pattern :

Pattern  Expression is seen from late embryonic (post comma-stage) through to the adult stage. In larvae and adults there is extensive staining of intestinal nuclei. Many cells in the pharynx also give expression (including the pharyngeal muscle cells (m3-m7)). Staining in head hypodermal cells and anterior body hypodermis is also evident. Occasional weak staining of the excretory cell nucleus and the posterior canals is observed. Primary Identifier  Expr126
Remark  Other strain-- UL487 (died out) late embryo(author) = 1.5-fold + 2-fold + 3-fold + fully-elongated embryo(curator).

any of 20 large epithelial cells which form a tube and are mostly situated as bilaterally symmetric pairs around the tubular lumen. Each of these cell pairs forms an intestinal ring ( II-IX int rings). The most anterior intestinal ring (int ring I), however, is made of four cells. Intestinal cells contain large nuclei with large nucleoli and numerous autofluorescent granules in their cytoplasm. intestinal cell   WBbt:0005792
