Subcellular Localization  CAT-1-specific staining in the nervous system was punctate and was observed primarily in synaptic regions. In general, neuronal processes and cell bodies were poorly stained or not stained at all, although the trajectories of many processes could be inferred from the punctate immunofluorescence presumably associated with the enpassant synapses made by the processes.
